Ok I am DEAD nut sure there is more topend left in that rig then....Wevel buddy you just gotta get yo hands on a camera and take some pics of the rear of the boat....mounting area and such. That boat will FLY.......I am running a HEAVY 16ft Tidecraft....not the Wildfire series....One person full tanks and loaded for tourney 49GPS all day long. Now remove all but one battery ALL tackle and get on the right water 53.5 was the very best and I think I had a tail wind that day. Your boat being the super bee and lighter than mine......sporting at least 50 more hp should be banging 55 in the head everytime out.......run her light and she ought be busting a real damn close 60. We are missing something here and thats why we need the pics.

4MPH drop from the deck extension??? Either it weighs 300-400 pounds (dought that) or you need a little more lift from the prop, I'm bet it's the prop.

deck extension weighs 76 pounds on tha scales .. ya rekon tha raker will give it tha lift it needs.. yea the 76 pounds killed 4 mph nothin changed exept that when i take the extenson out i get back my 4 mph but i like the deck extension.. i was hopen tha transome spacers would kind of set the deck extension but i didnt gain any speed besides in rough water but it made it ride a whole lot higher.

Re: 2 inches makes a difference

Wevel I got a 1994 model boat and motor......I see 2 things right now from the pics.....one being that the Bee appears to have a very slight pad angle and I am trying to figure out why the inner portion of the j/p is so high....that is the portion of the jack plate that the motor is bolted to. I havent used the hi jacker style of plates but I do have a question fer ya......on the portion of the jackplate that bolts to the transom.....are there multiple mounting hole heights????

As far as the deck extentsion I am like Jay.......76lbs is nothing more than a tackle bag.........In my boat when running solo I place my bag in the passenger seat......boat runs with a nose up attitude....which told me that I needed some cup in the prop....and also told me that any additional weight in the forward section of the boat will cause the nose to lay lower....which brings me to my next statement.....have you tried moving anything moveable to the rear portion of the boat........like keep nothing but the spare life jackets and the rods up front.........put everything else in the rear of the boat. That was a MAJOR thing to do in mine.....Also while looking at the pics that just enforces the thought of mine that the raker is gonna be the prop for you....the 24 should get you real close but to gain the maximum your prolly gonna have top let Jay tweak it. For instance right now I know I need bigger exhaust holes and some work done on the cupping and have him also try to get some more stern lift outta my prop. Just as oon as I can get a few dollars ahead ole jay is gonna be busy with my lil raker.......One more question.....when sitting still in the water does your boat have a nose up float or does she lay kinda flat..........And FYI that boat is so close to mine it hurts.
