Johnson outboard
I recently lost number six piston in my outboard a 200 hp conglomeration of many years parts, racing version of an le.
Boy were we surprised,to be expected it had a wee bit of extra porting, thats one of the reasons it did lil damage when it went,a chunk out of the piston went out the exhaust holes. But the biggest surprise was its ci and stock,3.2 L,yes and with stock pistons, naturally someone had cnc a lot of the excess weight off,and half needle bearings, replacing with full sets of needle bearings and one piston due to $.
Bet the motor cost more than what,I paid for the boat,or they had that much in it with all the machining, also has a 15 in mid.Which was only made for one year, figgure this one was a cnc operation,as I get 14 3/4 out of it

Re: Johnson outboard
All this time it was on backorder as a stock piston, found a place this morning that had it on stock all along but where i had ordered it from finally came thru be up here tomorrow or the next day.
Then humpty goes back together, lookout back motas,a rude is comin thru.
Gangway run run get on the bank,or it might pass us .
It isnt however stock ,200 that puts out about 225 or so on 87 oct.
Shs a tired ol girl so dont like winding her out ,no rev limiter,so dont 7 k it like previous owner.6200 is about it.for me anyway.Have no desire to run nitrous like he did and do 107 in the 1/4,dual sensors of course and limited time span.
At some time and point will replace with something tamer and smaller hp,to put put around in in my old age.
