I don't think it took long to get it up there as they said the motor was awesome strong. Here is a video running 85 with a 34 performer. Water conditions were not the best and they lacked good prop selections. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S79ks-nPoEnondisclosed_email@example.com (Gary L)Tue, 11 May 2010 13:33:49 +0000 Re: Yamaha 250SHO on Strokerhttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2670,from=rss#post2670https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2670,from=rss#post2670Hey Gary, was it a Hydrotec boat? Give me a heads up if you know it's around!nondisclosed_email@example.com (JEVPhoenixBass)Tue, 11 May 2010 08:47:24 +0000 Re: Yamaha 250SHO on Strokerhttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2640,from=rss#post2640https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2640,from=rss#post2640with a 32 it probably needed a bunch of lake. I just did some math and was wondering what gear ratio it must be running to get to 6000 with a 32. The hole shot must be on the really sucks side. How do ya prop that beast. If ya put some thing on there that will give ya a decent hole shot you'll be turning 7200 at WOT Hey Jay ya hear anything about this. I gotta see the specs on that motor. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Bullet20dc)Tue, 11 May 2010 06:06:22 +0000 Re: Yamaha 250SHO on Strokerhttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2623,from=rss#post2623https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2623,from=rss#post262396@6k not bad at all. Curious how long it needed to get it wound up there (time or distance). nondisclosed_email@example.com (1Nightmare)Mon, 10 May 2010 22:10:17 +0000 Re: Yamaha 250SHO on Strokerhttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2621,from=rss#post2621https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2621,from=rss#post2621The lighter flywheel lets it spool up faster is all. I tried to see the beast today but it was already home.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Gary L)Mon, 10 May 2010 22:00:55 +0000 Re: Yamaha 250SHO on Strokerhttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2604,from=rss#post2604https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2604,from=rss#post2604Id say so. wonder why the lightened flywheel mod. would it not spin up to 6000 with the std flywheel. I would rather hear what it could do box stock but that is flyin with a 32 alsonondisclosed_email@example.com (Bullet20dc)Mon, 10 May 2010 18:41:11 +0000 Yamaha 250SHO on Strokerhttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2603,from=rss#post2603https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p2603,from=rss#post2603This last week they ran a Stroker at Table Rock Lake with a 250SHO Yamaha. It had only two mods done to it one was a lightened flywheel and the other was modifications to the lower unit for better water pressure. The boat had the troller off but fishing 100lbs of lead to act as fishing gear and with a 32TXP ran 96 at about 6000 RPM's. I would say that is pretty impressive for a Four Stroke Motor.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Gary L)Mon, 10 May 2010 18:37:09 +0000
