Re: My Ally

Well your in the correct boat, now we just have to work on the brand of motor.
Seats are down in hard for anyone but the riders to see and it will never set still long enuff for anyone else to unless on the trailer.
While the wait might not be resonable the price is.
With or without them or the black thingy, its a nice boat

Re: My Ally

Have the facotry seats, much better, I wouldn't mind an ETECH or if they have a new SHO under 440 that would be ideal in the future, They just need to raise the limter some

Re: My Ally

Yeah it will do better mine with a 27 p will do 82-83,that I know of ,with a 1.86 gear ratio your hull is only about 2mph slower generally, providing same hp.
Slightly longer chine and wider.Hair more weight, but just a hair.
And alleys are quite capable of running larger wheels if one wants more speed, mine is a fishing prop, have a 28 chopper if I want to run faster and it would easily handle a 29,it was reduced to 28 due to it being run on the 1800 pd jag-22 ft long.
Possibly need jay to put it back to 29.
I think id be staring 90 in the face, but then again seldom here on ky lake can one wot one for long.

Re: My Ally

Jay, that prop didn't lift well, it was a trophy worked for a LCB, my hydro lifts better.

Update:Went out this weekend with the hydmotoive 26. Just went cruising and a little skiing with my sister and her boyfreind skis in the nose,
76.4 at about not sure of RPM didn't get a good look but I think 6400/6500 ish,
now that the hotfoot is right wonder what it will run with just me, that is 5.5 mph faster than normal with 3 in the boat.......

Re: My Ally

Could be the smaller diameter of the Trophy vs. the diameter of the hydro especially if the jp is at the same height. Keep in mind the difference between the two is about 1 inch.

Re: My Ally

the 26x-ot quad iv will run 83.8 by myself, trolling motor and all three batteries as well as a spare prop and a few tools in the boat.

My boat is also sidesteer if that matters.

Basically had to move everything to the passenger side to be ballaced well
