posticon baits

ok, im looking to try out new baits and learn how to use them! At the moment we all know i love my worm, and i can fish with a spinner bait. but id like to get more experience with different baits. Anyone got any suggestions???

Just cause there's a wiggle in the water don't mean the fish's on the hook.

Junior spooks are also a fun time when you can throw it.

I found a bait at BPS that is just like a spook the only difference is they are pastic and you rig them with a worm hook weedless. emoticon

Re: baits

Try jigs for bigger fish, a frog for plain old fun and a dropshot for putting a limit in the boat.

Re: baits

Simply put a jig is a leadhead with a hook, anything from a grub to a worm,or minnow swimbait can be put on the bare ones, sauger, walleye, white bass along with black bass hit them.
More often than not for black bass one with a spinnerbait type rubber skirt and some sort of trailer is used, they are considered a culling bait, but often work better in the spring or fall.Somewhat due to the activity of the crawfish they emulate.

Black and blue then browns and greens being the most used, notice mine are mostly green or brown and or a combo thereof as green pumkin is one of the top colors to use on ky lake
