Desert lake fishing

I'm going to go to Lake Havasu for a couple of days next week. Never fished any of the desert lakes before have any of you?
I know that in the lake section it is super clear 40'+ visibility and in the river section it has a little color kind of like Tablerock but in the middle of the desert.
I'll fish from like 4am until 10 or so drive for an hour and hang out at a casino and hit the water again at about 5-6 until I get tired. At least thats my plan since the weather calls for 114 daytime highs. But the fishing is suposed to be off the hook right now.
Any suggestions?

them desert lakes fish alot like our mountain lakes deep and extreamly clear i dont know the depth of that particular lake but ours is 150+ft deep them smallies love the chunk rock sediment mix with a finis jig or c-rig baby brush hog on 6 to 12lb test both are also lethal for them green fish to if u dont know many spots look for bank transitions like were rock shelf transition into sedment soil then follow the curve under water with the depth finder and start fishing various depth to u locate the fish then u can start to form a patteren.

So I checked the weather and itr called for 116 and 15-20mph wind so I said screw that I'm going to the Delta instead. Its a balmy 111 here...lol ...with 15-20 mph winds!!!
Oh well the frog is getting bit and so is a buzz bait so all is good. Had to get off the water by 1 today.
I'm goning to go way up the river to the Sacramento river and try for small mouths tomorrow. It should only be 95 or so there...haha
Maybe I'll try Havasu in the fall or next spring.
Spring break there is supposed to be insane, guys call april bass and boob month on Havasu.
