Yamaha spark plugs


What plugs are best for a2000 Yamaha VMax 225 ox66?
Are they pregapped at the factory?

Don't know what brand to get for the Yamy but most spark plugs are "pregapped" at the factory. BUT that doesn't mean that they will still be right by the time the customer gets them. Always check the gap on every plug even for your vehicle.

The same ones that are in it. Pull the plug, part number is on the side. Should be NGK's that are in it...Don't even think about a Champion... emoticon ...

Yes normally they come pretty darn close on the gap but always double check them.

This thread got me thinking when the last time I changed mine out. I went to O'reilys auto parts, they had mine (BR8HS-10) for just over $12.00 for a set of 6.

12.00 for 6 dayum I pay that for one plug. Them iridium plugs are expensive but do last a long time
