For your motors health it sounds to me you might want to drop it down a click. Are you playing with the jp in 1/4 inch increments?

It has side and low water pick ups Bullet.Where I am at right now I blow the prop on hole shot with two peeps. My tail is probably 2' above motor.I was going to try a buddies 25 tempest last weekend but didn't get a chance. He has a 20'6 Ranger with a 225 Opti that runs 70-71 GPS with good hole shot with this prop.I need to see if I can find a prop that bites better so I don't have to trim so high to get the nose up. emoticon

Sounds like you need a little extra cup in the tips, this will help all your problems.

Yea I know that you all have said this before I just don't understand how factory props can be so different.I know of other Z9's with emoticon the same set up getting 75-76 with full fuel.I have to have a bad blade or something. This 25 Tempest I am talking abot is stock. He is seeing 70-71 @ 5600 with 1.75 gears.Thats the same gears I have but I otta be able to spin that thing to the limiter or close. The thing that throws me off with my 26 TP is I can turn it 5900 trimmed down or up.The tail is as wide as the boat behind me.It is not a straight tail.If it is slipping that much why does it bog me so bad when I am loaded with 3-4 people. The only time I blow it is on break over and I think that's because of my JP being so high.

I had Boger look at a 27 trophy for me a while back and he told me 2 of the blades were closer to 28+, one was 27 and one was closer to 26. This is a box stock prop never been touched. It came back all trued up and all at 27 and made a huge difference.
