Re: fuel problem
Yup use the pump to lose msst of the fuel sop up whats left with a rag thru the sending unit hole, tight nut possible, then install filters or replace existing.
Am curious as to what prop your running, hard to get any of any size anymore for the 140,most mfg stop at 21 p heck i ran that on my merc power of tower 90 hp.
Curious for a reason replacing my rude awaking that the local mechanics ruined with a less expensive old xflow to put put with.

Re: fuel problem
Most of the 24 Pitch rakers are 13 1/2 x 24,ment for an etec 4 in gearcase, there is one older 13 in x 24 on ebay and they want an arm and a leg for it,missed a dah 23 last week,,65 bucks.Think laser 2 also has one in a 24 p,was it hard to put a bobs on the small gearcase
If i get it leaving in a bit to go to indiana, its an older xlow so wont be 140 at the prop, currently has a 19 p on it along with a mcfast boat, not getting the boat.
over the hub should solve the 3 5/8 gear case problem

Re: fuel problem
Mines older than yours,as for props they often do have a minor difference the 25 p shooter has a shorter blade than the 27 p,but not due to gearcase just the size of prop
yeah 3 5/8
he started that thing up an lo and behold it followed me home all 400+ miles.
Left 12.30 home 3.30 and now mounted not rigged lol to tired, aint a young welp no more.
taking one off driving over 425 miles and mounting one all in 24 hrs is enough

Re: fuel problem
Lol fellas am and pm,just past midnight home in afternoon,No letter S on the front of shirt.Basically was up 36 straight hrs. From sack to sack time.
Hats and one shirt do say lilmule on them.
Past history of this mota its a hoosier mota, previously used at indy on one of dem pace settin boats, course awhile back like 79.
Was semi retired and was currently being used on a 17 ft mcfast skinny dipping over Wabash sandbars. Its tiny lil 19 p ss prop loks more like a plow share, with pieces off to one side or the other.Hmmm Im wondering what it would actually wing, ive used a 23 mazco on a 135 and really could have gone up some in pitch.
Kinda doubt the rakers as is would grip well.
Boat does look more proportional now as that 3 L looked rather large and have lost 100 pds off the rear end as its but 315lbs
Any rate its a put put fishin mota and does put, starts rather easily I might add.
