Hope it works for me.I have been trying to find someone to run her that knows what they are doing to just see if maybe it might be me but don't trust anyone that I know except yuze gize.So I may wait until April and see if I can trick Charlie into running her to see what he thinks before I spend the change. He said that he can't get Spinnerbaitlady's Nitro to chine so I want him to drive this thing.Maybe it's me. nondisclosed_email@example.com (NITROZ9)Thu, 02 Sep 2010 20:59:25 +0000 Re: Adding cupp to my prophttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5687,from=rss#post5687https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5687,from=rss#post5687Ok sounds like you found the sweet spot, now you just need to fine tune what you have, cupping will aid the blowout. I have seen where cupping a prop will also change how the water is pulled across the gearcase and will increase the H20 pressure. No promise it will happen but You do need to consider the cup work. Might kill two birds with one stone.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jay Martin)Thu, 02 Sep 2010 20:37:52 +0000 Re: Adding cup to my prophttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5676,from=rss#post5676https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5676,from=rss#post5676Down???? I have been at 3 1/2 below up to 2 1/4 in 1/8th" increments and it runs and handles it's best at 2 1/4 but blows out on break over and have to watch H2O real close. Torque steer is very bad at the setting ( 2 1/4) also. nondisclosed_email@example.com (NITROZ9)Thu, 02 Sep 2010 19:34:17 +0000 Re: Adding cupp to my prophttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5667,from=rss#post5667https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5667,from=rss#post5667Sounds like your in what I call the in between zone, try droping down another 1/4 inch and see if it gets better.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jay Martin)Thu, 02 Sep 2010 16:19:51 +0000 Re: Adding cupp to my prophttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5619,from=rss#post5619https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5619,from=rss#post5619if blowout is the same as aeroration as in when the bow starts tipiing down the rpms spike it aint nessisarly a bad thing it can help get the rpm and speed up faster im assuming urs is exxecisvly aerorating... have u tryed filling the exaust holes if has pvs holes use the solid ones.... back to ur question yea it should help helped mine alot before i almost had to run a weed ring it would spike to 4700 for 2 or 3 seconds without it.. with it in it ws hard to get in the power band of my mota... cuping should let ur prop run higher less blow out because the added bite and more bow lift because the added rake and bite thats if its done right .. nondisclosed_email@example.com (wevel2)Tue, 31 Aug 2010 22:09:57 +0000 Adding cupp to my prophttps://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5605,from=rss#post5605https://bbassnboatscom.runboard.com/p5605,from=rss#post5605O.K here is another dumb question.I have reinstalled my 26 TP and took it out this weekend. Yes the 25 tempest that I borrowed a few weeks ago is that much better.I have lowered my plate back down to where I don't blow out on break over and man this thing is impossible to drive. I was still able to hit 72 but I could not drive the chine at this plate setting. My question is that when I have the cup added to the 26 will I be able to run my plate higher and still not blow out on break over? The Higher I have my plate the easier it is to drive as far as chine but I will have to plug some holes and do something about the torque steer. I am at 2 3/4" right now but I have been as high as 2 1/4" but had to watch my H20. nondisclosed_email@example.com (NITROZ9)Tue, 31 Aug 2010 19:30:22 +0000
