Time does change things
Or the owner of them my lil 140 was mfg as a sea drive most likely with an Arneson surface drive [sign in to see URL] changed the front bracket looks more like a normal motor somewhat but the lil tilt bracket doesnt Quite line up,other wise works fine.
Hydro shoft that year ,not now no push button shift req.
But does have the sea drive labels intact on the [sign in to see URL] those not familiar with sea drive it looks like a jack plate attached sort of a box like front end that created setback.
Somewhere along in the years a lot of changes occurred to it most likly just to use it on other things than boston [sign in to see URL] which it was very popular on.
Am I upset having to go back in hp and time no,was going back in hp anyway, have a desire to fish the bass 150 circuit, providing motor works out.
If not not much of a loss,my jack plate cost more.
And despite its age am rather liking it,size wise its great does not look overpowering on the alley.
Somewhat of a brain buster to get it all right, tilt and trim wants to read high when its tilted at all,It actually is faster than my 200 any of them as far as tilt and trim goes, havnt a clue as to why.
