Post spawn techniques
What are your most productive post spawn techniques?

I AM NOT SAYING THERE SHOULD BE CAPITAL PUNISHMENT FOR STUPIDITY,
BUT, WHY DON'T WE JUST TAKE THE SAFETY LABELS OFF OF EVERYTHING
AND LET THE PROBLEM SOLVE ITSELF?"

Re: Post spawn techniques
If you're talking about immediate post spawn - where the males are guarding the beds and the females are trying to get it back together....
I locate an area of the lake that is ahead of or behind the area that has male bass guarding the beds. Have to work tooooo hard to get them wore out females to bite!

Re: Post spawn techniques
Listening to the locals for now the spawn has just about drizzled out on my local lake but heated up at my BIG FISH hole....Lake Monticello....Anyways the post spawn normally is a fairly consistent mix of what you want to fish when you are there.....I have always picked up the ole JnP.....normally 5/16oz with a watermelon candy sweet beaver as a trailer....I also keep a chatterbait tied up.....and come to think of it a Wareagle Spinnerbait......I can cover alot of water REAL thourough with them 3 choices and the whole column .....at least over and down here.

Re: Post spawn techniques
Lead in, lead out banks with shallow crankbaits-like a bandit 200,good for both pre and post spawn fish.
Fish travel those routes in and out of spawning areas.
When in doubt use dynamite.Bit of humor is all.
