Re: fuel problem
sugar is the worse thing ya can put in a fuel tank. it gums up everything and gas don't dissolve it. destroys pretty much everything in the path from tank to injector.

Re: fuel problem
I saw a couple of Explorers done when I worked at the dealership. It really does screw up EVERYTHING! From the fuel pump to the injectors and everything in between. It all had to be replaced.

Re: fuel problem
wont tear up a carb motor says rick sassy of sassy motors and seen a episode on mythbusters that did the same thing no harm filter catches it...on a fi with em i defenatly see it clogen the injectors and tearin the pump seals up if you diddnt have a fuel filter with enough microns to catch the sugar particles.. the maximum sugar will disolve in gas is about a teaspoon in 17.8 gallons of gas theres a reasearch from a universty somwere about it.. it wont gum up anything it stays sugar wont gum nothin clog yes but gum no.. sugar which is just carbon ittl burn just not as clean as gas.. im just throwin this out there for thse that say itl blow motors and such if ya got a proper fuel system it might clog the first couple filters ..

Re: fuel problem
sorry wevel I respectfully disagree with the findings Ive seen it first hand. if left in over night it gets gummy and black as coal and will clog the valves and screens of a fuel pump and the nozzles of injectors in 2 seconds
It is also extremely abrasive when not dissolved and will wear out a seal in a few hours
In carbed motors it will screw up the needle valves and flood them carbs.
ya wanna do a experiment on your own. Take some sugar and pour some gas on it over say a tin. leave it for an hour then try and clean it off. use whatever ya want gas carb cleaner pee anything and it just stays gooey.
